The Okemo Valley area is assured of four dramatic and beautiful seasons with a variety of activities possible throughout the year.
In summer, when the days are warm and the nights are pleasantly cool, there is boating, biking and hiking as well as many outdoor cultural events.
Winter can be long, snowy and cold but there are plenty of ways to stay warm! Our area has some the best skiing found anywhere with Okemo, Killington and Stratton ski resorts close by. Skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and ice skating are available throughout the region and the beautiful blanket of snow that covers our Green Mountains are the playground for folks who snowmobile, snowshoe and cross country ski.
Spring is a vigorous time of renewal beginning with maple sugaring in March and slowly building to an explosion of color in May with Lilacs and flowers in bloom everywhere.
Fall is so brilliant that people come to Vermont from all over the world to tour the countryside and villages and view the colorful foliage.
